The FM stereophonic broadcasting system adopted as the United States' standard by the Federal Communications Commission in April, 1961, appears to be destined for worldwide acceptance. This paper is an unofficial report of that meeting and is restricted to that portion devoted to FM stereophonic broadcasting.
