Program-Level Overloading and Equalization in Phonograph Recording

Various modifications were made in the RIAA recording-equalization charactristic, and the resulting changes in the number of displacement, slope, and curvature overloads were measured using the instrumentation and techniques described in a companion paper. Tentative data are presented, and problems requiring further investigation are suggested.
