Many FM broadcast stations throughout the country are converting their operations to include FM stereophonic broadcasts. Often the station engineer is confronted with making type acceptance measurements for his particular station. This article reviews the deficiencies of the filter technique and describes an efficient method of making the measurements using a wave analyzer and the equipment of measurements required, along with a few hints on problem areas and their solutions.
