Nomenclature for Motion Pictures and Television

Document Thumbnail

Nomenclature forms a very important part of every branch of science and engineering. Although the field of audio engineering has been professionally represented for the last six years by the Audio Engineering society, little work has yet been done to organize its nomenclature. As a first step in this direction the following four papers presented before the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers are published. Mr. Offenhauser is Chairman of the AES Standards Committee and has been successful in obtaining the cooperation of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers and other organizations with the AES on matters of standards.
