A Comparison of Some Loudness Measures for Loudspeaker Listening Tests

Simple weighting methods and the ISO loudness modelsare compared with listener-adjusted loudness levels. For a loudness level of about 80 phons, B-weighting appeared to be the best method while A-weighting is unreliable.
