Calculation of Sound Radiation from an Unbaffled, Rectangular-Cross-Section Horn Loudspeaker Using Combined Analytical and Boundary-Element Methods

Document Thumbnail

Methods are described for calculating the sound radiation from an unbaffled, rectangular-cross-section horn loudspeaker using a minicomputer. The boundary-element method is used for smaller horn loudspeakers and, in combination with the analytical method, for larger units. The results of the calculation have shown good agreement with measurement.
