Computer simulation of audio transducers has become a viable approach to producing optimum designs in a timely manner. As the need for improved detail and accuracy of these simulations increases, more powerful techniques must be developed. The available techniques for loudspeaker simulation are first reviewed briefly and then a derivation is given of a "boundary element" for use in finite-element modeling of loudspeakers.
