Three high-fidelity loudspeakers have been developed and commercialized. These include 8-, 12-, and 15-in. units. The characteristics of these loudspeakers are uniform response over a wide frequency range combined with broad directivity, low nonlinear distortion, and faithful transient response. Cabinets and other loading systems for these loudspeakers have also been developed.
