Dynamic Distortion Measurements of Tape Recorders and Electroacoustic Transducers

Document Thumbnail

Measurement procedures for dynamic distortion have been applied to analog magnetic tape recorders, including noise-reduction systems, loudspeakers, and microphones. In contrast to other specific test methods, dynamic distortion tests proved a sensitive and consistent measure, especially for high-frequency compression distortion in low-speed tape recorders.
