Squealer-Killer with Real-Time Equalization

Document Thumbnail

Real-time equalization is achieved under near-feedback conditions. Off-line equalization is accomplished in seconds. Band-pass gains are being adjusted continuously to accommodate a wide range of dynamic frequency spectra. Feedback is suppressed by high-Q assignable notch filters, usually within 50 ms and before the human ear can detect it. An inexpensive 8-bit microcomputer controls the system.
