Measurement and Prediction of the Timbre of Sound Reproduction

Based on experimental observations, models are derived which make possible the measurement and prediction of the timbre produced by a sound-reproducing system. The importance of using ear-related measuring techniques is emphasized if conformity of sound reproduction from different sound systems is the aim.
