Document Thumbnail

Many present-day hi-fi items such as 33-1/3 r/min, Vinylite- records, 45°-45° stereo, wide frequency range, etc,. were byproducts of telephone research at Bell Laboratories in the 1920s and 1930s. A brief history of this work with Stokowsky and the Philadelphia Orchestra will be given.
