A group of personal calculator programs have been developed which help select the most suitable enclosure for a given low-frequency cone transducer of known parameters. Enclosure volume and/or tuning may be either computer or specified. Computed parameters include approximate frequency response and ripple, displacement-limited power ratings and, for vented enclosures, vent dimensions. Realizations of these programs are presented for Hewlett-Packard 67, 97, and 41C calculators. Additional programs for graphic representations of approximate frequency response are provided for the 41C equipped with the 82143A Peripheral Printer, both single-strip and multistrip "high-resolution" plots, and for the 97 in multistrip format.
