A complete digital audio mixer with eight channel inputs, two channel outputs for line and four channel outputs for echo sending has been developed using digital signal processing techniques which can be applied to level control, mixing 2-8 channels simultaneously in real time. All signal inputs and outputs are digital data composed of 16 bits using linear quantization. The calculating method, its practical applications, and the construction are described.
