Multidimensional Audio: Part 2

Document Thumbnail

Sound quality is not a quantity which can be measured directly. Yet, we all believe there is a relationship between what we measure and what we hear. The purpose of this paper is to sketch the outlines of this relationship. In conclusion, three linear and three nonlinear measurement domains will be emphasized as subjectively important. However, detailed descriptions will deliberately be avoided to prevent the loss of overview.
