Equalization using solely narrow-band filters below 800 Hz and both broad- and narrow-band filters above 800 Hz was performed on a large arena sound system. Subsequent testing to determine the stability of the equalization under varying temperature, mocrphone placement, audience size, and other operational aspects of the system is described.
