Sound Columns-Practical Design and Applications

Document Thumbnail

Although a number of papers concerning the problem of radiation in halls by means of loudspeaker columns have been published in recent years, few went into an anlysis of the physical principles of the radiation of sound by means of loudspeaker columns. The directional charactristics for line sources ar discussed in [1]. The purpose of the present paper is to give a brief theoretical and experimental basis for the use of loudspeaker columns, and to describe a particular case in which these principles were applied.
