Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. (JVC America, Inc.) has constructed three new recording studios. Principal features of studio acoustics are flat response of reverberation time, high absorption coefficient (45%) and high diffused field, using multiple sound absorbing layers (3.3 feet thick) in wall and ceiling. In recording, we utilize the cylindrical screens which reflect sound to musicians respectively. Thus, we obtain compatibility between clear sound recording and good musical performance.
