St. Mary's Cathedral is a 10-million dollar structure of unconventional design. The calculated potential acoustic gain, needed acoustic gain, delay considerations, loudspeaker cluster design and Q, and the complete system design are presented. Also covered are preliminary tests and correlation with the design, and the installation, frequency-response measurements, equalization, and final response and sound levels.
