Design considerations involved in the development of a transportable sound-reinforcement system whose special features are a system of coordinated audio visual perception enabling the audience to determine which of several lecturers is speaking in a dimly lit room and a system of active equalization of room acoustics without the need for test equipment or highly trained personnel are discussed.
