Crosstalk Measurements on Magnetic Recording Heads

The term -crosstalk- used in the specification of a magnetic recording head is often regarded as a single parameter. There are actually several specific types of crosstalk, each of which has a particular meaning to the systems designer and specification writer. Several of the types of crosstalk and typical measurement methods are discussed, with particular attention to those encountered most often in audio-frequency applications.
