A solid-state mixing console is described which satisfies a wide range of research and development recording assignments. This versatile console features six microphone inputs for either of two studios, six line/utility inputs, two-channel operation and graphic equalization and peak limiting for each channel, and an amplifier overload indicating system. Reliability, ease of operation, superior performance and accessibility for maintenance were primary design considerations.
