A driving unit, an anthropomorphic head, and monitoring microphones have been combined to produce a unique high source-impedance facility for measuring the acoustic impedance of oxygen, gas, and diver's masks. The response of microphones in masks can also be measured. The calibrator has been used at gas pressures simulating depths from sea level to 600 feet below sea level.
