The Method and Meaning of Acoustical Measurement of Telephonic Transmitters

The acoustical measurement of telephonic transmitters (close talking microphones) is studied to determine the efficiency of the method used to predict the quality of sound transmission, as well as to obtain the data necessary to design the electric and electronic associated equipment. An historical review of the testing methods is included.
