Miniature Audio Amplifiers

The present trend in miniatured discrete components and integrated circuits as used in hearing aid amplifiers is discussed. Gain, power, output, environmental characteristics, efficiency, etc., of typical units are examined. In particular, single-ended Class A and push-pull Class B monolithic circuits are described.
