A Novel and High Efficient Simulation Model of Loudspeaker

Document Thumbnail

As is known to all, loudspeaker is a multi-physics coupling model. While a fully coupled multi-physics simulation for 3D drivers is time-consuming or even unavailable in practical application. To overcome it, this paper presents a novel model for simulating the performance of loudspeaker with a high efficiency, which is very useful for 3D simulation. The model just needs a mechanical finite element model to simulate the vibration of driver. At the same time, the electrical and acoustical properties are included by using formulas of lumped model and Rayleigh integral in the same software. This model is easy to be practiced with a higher efficiency and less resource of hardware, which can provide a powerful simulation tool for transducer engineers.
