The anechoic chamber of the Acoustics Laboratory Cassette system are given, with a discussion of the possibilities for compatible stereo recording and for educational applications. This system is proposed as a world-wide standard for audio tape recorders, because it is believed to be a good compromise between versatility, quality, price and reliability.
