Field Effect Integrated Circuits in Electronic Organs

Document Thumbnail

The Motorola FETIC approach (Field Effect Transistor Integrated Circuit) is described in terms of two definite high use functions in electronic organs-the divider and key functions. In these functions, FETICs offer cost savings, labor savings, space savings, and at the same time provide superior performance over present conventional methods. The basic advantages of the FETIC approach, which make it a potentially low cost form of electronic circuitry, hinges on such factors as the dual use of FET geometries for both active and passive elements, the simplicity of direct coupled circuitry, and other factors described in this paper.
