Limited dashboard space, coupled with the problems of European driving conditions (bad roads and harder automobile suspensions), has caused the development of a unique compact high-quality tape cassette stereo playback system for automobiles. Ease of operation (a prime automobile safety factor) and full fidelity quality were major design considerations in development. Various packages are envisioned to meet current and future needs in the automotive industry.
