A distortion analyzer was recently developed which expedites the tuning operation required for obtaining a distortion measurement. The two adjustments of a bridge which must normally be tuned simultaneously for a null have been made automatic, each being similar in operation to an AFC loop. Usefulness of automatic nulling is discussed and a description of the circuitry given.
