On Developing a Vocalist Condenser Microphone

Condenser microphones are being used more frequently on stage. The advantageous transducer characteristics of condenser microphones compared to moving-coil microphones are well known. Progress in public address systems has made it possible to notice these differences in standard concert situations. With increasing demand, the development of highest quality, yet affordable stage microphones has become worthwhile. Aspects of development requirements are discussed.:
