Quantification of Subwoofer Requirements, Part I: Generation of Stimuli and Listening System Equalization

Document Thumbnail

Lower cutoff frequency and slope, amplitude ripple, and group delay ripple have been examined. Shape and magnitude of both amplitude and group delay ripple were calculated from room simulations. Listening tests were performed using both loudspeakers in an anechoic chamber and headphones which were equalized in an attempt to obtain equal results.
