The paper presents a novel equalizer with variable gains and delays in 31 one-third-octave frequency bands. The signal processing algorithm has been developed at our laboratory and implemented as a PC program with graphical user interface. This equalizer can be used for online and offline processing of sound data and offers interesting acoustic possibilities by delay variations in different frequency bands.:
