In this paper we present an improved structure for implementing one bit signal processing which requires smaller coefficient word lengths for the same performance. We will first review the problems of current approaches. We will then describe the new structure and explain how it gives improved coefficient accuracy. We will conclude by presenting examples of the new structure when performing equalizing transfer functions.
