Experimental Low-Frequency Sound Equalization in an Extended Region of an Enclosure Using Adaptive Filters

Document Thumbnail

An experimental investigation of sound equalization at low frequencies in an extended region inside an enclosure is presented. DSP and the multiple LMS algorithm were used to obtain the optimal solution for the equalization at single frequencies. The effects of the position of the sources, the size of the target region, and the driving frequency are discussed.
