A design philosophy to minimize out-of-band impedance seen by the loudspeaker drivers is discussed. The presented approach to crossover design helps control driver resonances and minimize distortion. Measurements showing the benefits of this topology and philosophy are discussed and graphs of frequency response for various topologies with equivalent crossover points are shown.
