High Performance Computing Network Techniques for Vibroacoustic Analysis: Audio Applications

Document Thumbnail

Finite and boundary element analysis are applicable in many situations including loudspeaker cone breakup, radiation, diffraction and source/room interaction. However there is a rapid increase in computational requirement with frequency. HPCN techniques exploit the combined resources of several computers. The current work used 4 PCs. Promising results are shown for a radiation problem and analysing source placement in a room.
