Design of Cross-Talk Cancellation Networks by Using Fast Deconvolution

Document Thumbnail

Binaural material must be passed through a cross-talk cancellation network before it can be played back over two loudspeakers. Such a network works well only if it is capable of providing a significant boost of low frequencies. The fast deconvolution method using frequency-dependent regularization is suitable for designing a matrix of long finite impulse response filters that have the necessary dynamic range.
