The following paper represents an empirical approached study on a kind of acoustical elliptical shaped waveguides based on the oblate spheroidal coordinate system. Presented will be the ideas followed, the method used to build real models, and the measurement results. It is not a complete work but only a starting point from which we wish to originate a mathematical model. This task will be a next step of this work.
