The Measuring Method of Dynamic Force-to-Displacement Characteristics for Loudspeaker Suspension System and Driving Force

Document Thumbnail

When the loudspeaker diaphragm is moving under the larger amplitude, the higher order of harmonic distortion occurs. This distortion highly depends upon the nonlinearity of the suspension system's stiffness and driving force varying with diaphragm displacement. The authors have recently developed a simple but precise measuring method of this nonlinearity using an acoustic coupler.
