A proven framework that enables rapid prototyping for algorithms being developed is presented. By drawing upon a software architecture running on a DSP capable of processing signals in distinct phases, this environment allows the developer to control algorithm parameters in the background without the need to recompile code or break the audio-allowing true A/B comparisons between algorithms.
