An improved method for calculation of vibrational behavior of loudspeaker moving assembly is proposed, taking into consideration different mechanical parameters of moving-assembly components as well as the junction of several shells in one point. Computer modeling is based on the Galerkin method and asymptotic analysis. A new wave theory based method and corresponding software for calculation of resonances in small volumes is proposed, using the theory of singular perturbation. The method is an alternative to the boundary-element method and provides faster calculation of the sound field inside nonrectangular enclosures containing sound reflecting three-dimensional objects.
