The model of sound propagation, taking into account the visco-thermal losses established in a previous paper, -An Improved Transmission Line Model for Visco-Thermal Lossy Sound Propagation,- presented at the 96th AES Convention, Amsterdam, Preprint 3828, has been verified experimentally for different acoustical structures. The measurement of the impedance of several narrow holes, cavities, and ducts on a dedicated test bench gave results very close to the theory. The application of this model to miniaturized transducers is also discussed.
