Test procedures for digital audio systems require stimulation signals, such as sinusoidal test signals, with high purity and stability. Different methods are already known to produce a digital test generator; however, this paper describes the structure of the generation of the sinus signal based on mathematical and numerical solutions, with algorithms for integer and floating-point signal processors. The accuracy and purity limits are given.
