Among the engineering issues to be addressed in music-to-picture recording projects is synchronizer network management. While hardware exists for this purpose, its features are inherently limited. This paper describes the development and use of a software tool for music-to-picture projects in terms of synchronizer configuration, ESbus protocol, and object-oriented programming. Exciting prospects for other software development have emerge and are outlined.
