This paper discusses the fractal spatial system (FSS) loudspeaker technology which has adapted the quadratic residue diffuser technology first described by Manfred Schroeder in 1979. A passively generated wavelet function of nonphase expands the acoustic environment from information encoded naturally into the signal. FSS is compatible with all artificial encoders and has unique properties which, for a passive system, may well define the future of sound production.:
