Multiloudspeaker systems have become increasingly popular over the last few years. With the advent of HDTV on the horizon with its 5.1 channels, it is of interest to see how well these systems create images. The stereo and Dolby systems will be tested against the Ambisonic system to show how well images are formed. This is done by testing their ability to recreate a plane wave.
