Modification of the Auditory Feedback Loop-Effects on Hearing and Speech Production

Document Thumbnail

The aim of this research was to compare various methods of the modification of the auditory feedback loop to their effects on hearing and speech articulation. DSP technology was used to enable the application of three different signal processing methods. A small portable DSP device was constructed, allowing one to organize some tests outside the laboratory environment. Some interesting effects were discovered. Results of the tests are discussed, and some conclusions are derived.
