Three dynamic parameters in auditory virtual environments are investigated: the system latency, the update rate, and the spatial resolution. A series of listening tests is performed to determine threshold parameter values, where subject performance begins to degrade. The tests were performed under real and simulated free-field conditions in an anechoic chamber.
