This paper shows how audio DSP software developers can test their code in the same environment in which it will operate, in the Huron GUI environment alongside other applications. Input and output patching and level metering are supported. The debugger can be extended to support features of the program under test, and it can be embedded in the application to support on-the-fly monitoring and modification.
